CATIA V5 to the next step change...

Well hello guys! its been a while since i have posted in this little blog of mine. I have revisited this place after a good 5 years... GOD! time flies... i cant believe how quickly though... i may seem like sounding to an empty room but i think there are quite a number of visiters ... sorry guys i was indulging myself in some real life activities and my online presence significantly reduced. Well whats new in this 5 years.. i found my love of my life... yay!! i moved on being a designer to a project leader so to say! moved away from automotive.. (though regret & blame the economic circumstances in the country i live in) ... developed signficantly on people skills.. looking to do a course on public speaking... (didnt get skilled up! or spent my time mocking the others at school :( ) well its never too late.. so Step Change... what is it ... ????

Times are ...

Times are tough for accross the industry everybody has to make the best product to its market and sell it to the right customer, with oil prices are high ... spending has been decreasing and the world is heading in to a deep slow agonising recession. Big Banks have failed .. stopped lending money which is killing businesses and in turn customers ... Time is right though for new discoveries, inventions and accelerating product development. Without product development there is no world ... simply nothing would prevail. The form is changing and is changing heavily over the last one year ... lot's of advancement within automotive sector and each company is heavily investing a lot of money ... The company that i work for is slowly gaining pace at accelerated product design ... involving new technologies ...

Ohh yes! It's been a whiiiile since my last post now the learning curve for my position has reached its maturity .... there is always something new to grab! .... I got my new car...n I m loving every second of it ! thanks to catia... and you ppl out there ! ... Now that I'm willing to share the knowledge thro this medium for FREE!!! FREE !!! folks I need some encouragement ... to drive my committment like a rotary wankel engine !!! heehehe!

Advanced CATIA V5

Here after you will be looking at post that are more advanced in concepts and detailed design approach in a totally different CATIA V5 environments that will take you thro an understanding of how things are done in real time ! So as a matter of fact there are prerequisites to jump to this level. Be a Dassault Certified Professional to understand the complexity involved.....

Its a long brk almost 6 weeks now ... So getting back to form feels so good !

Well my journey with learning catia has ended .... with a new beginning a new start as i m going to work for the biggest automotive company in the world in couple of weeks .... Yes ! u guessed it rite ! I have secured myself a wonderful position as a Design Engineer .... so thanks for all your support n help ... will continue to support people who r looking for a break or interested in learning catia
till then ...

CATIA V5R16 Part Design Specialist is ME!!!

I have been waiting waiting and waiting for this DAY .... 2 come ! coz just a couple of hours ago DASSAULT SYSTEMES has certified me as a part design specialist whoa!! unbelievable n u wouldn't believe it when i say that I finished this in a matter of 60 Days approx .... where someone is required to have a minimum of 6-8 Months of real work .....

So the next question is obvious ... how did I manage to get here ?

Ingredients:
4-6hrs of sleep
12-14 Hrs of CATIA (in a variety of combination i.e. - books, manuals, ofcourse the usuals)
200% of dedication ...

all this multiplied by a factor of 7 every week will most likely give u = CAT-PDM-V5R16 Certification.
